Here is the actual position paper from Ecommerce Europe that is referenced in the article
Reading the paper, Ecommerce Europe repeatedly states it’s committed to helping make DPPs successful and accepted across the e-commerce ecosystem. However it does raise concerns about complexity, data requirements, costs, SME participation and interoperability.
One thing one could take from this paper is a useful warning about what could happen when there is focus on compliance outcomes without sufficient attention to adoption, interoperability and operational realities.
